Dr. Patricia Schneider Sarver is the Senior Manager for Nursing Professional Development and the Program Director for the New-to-Practice RN Residency Program at AdventHealth for Children in Orlando, Florida, USA. She earned her BSN from Pennsylvania State University, MSN in Nursing Administration and Parent/Child Health from Villanova University, Post-Master’s Certificate in Nursing Education from Drexel University, and DNP in Healthcare Systems Leadership from Chamberlain University. Dr. Schneider Sarver is board certified in four specialties - Pediatric Nursing, Nursing Professional Development, Academic Nursing Education, and Nurse Executive, has been inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, and is an active member of the American Nurses Association, Florida Nurses Association, Association for Nursing Professional Development, National League for Nursing, and Society of Pediatric Nurses. She also serves as a volunteer for the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) as a Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) Champion for AdventHealth for Children and as a CPN Exam Item Writer. For nearly 40 years, Dr. Schneider Sarver has held positions in clinical nursing, nursing management, & nursing professional development, positively influencing pediatric nursing practice. Some of her passions include supporting newly licensed RNs and educating others about the need for cultural curiosity and humility.
