Guidelines for Abstract Submission

Everything you need to prepare and submit your abstract for NCC-2027, Boston.

These guidelines give prospective authors a clear framework for preparing and submitting work for consideration at NCC-2027, so we can keep sharing rigorous, evidence-based research and best practice in nursing care. Abstracts should be clear, concise, and aligned with the conference theme and sessions — highlighting innovative approaches and evidence-based research while addressing ethical considerations. Accepted submissions may take the form of oral presentations or posters.

Presentation Title

Should be in uppercase and precise to the subject.

Poster Size Requirement

All presenters are asked to bring a physical poster measuring 24 x 36 inches for display at the conference.

Authors & Affiliations

List each author with department, university or organization, city, country, and email address. Example:

Robert Brown1, Martin Ela1 and James Groove2

2Department of Physiology, Institute of Psychology, Berlin, Germany — James.Groove@hotmail.com

Abstract Format

  1. A single paragraph, 175–250 words, without subheadings, indentations, or references.
  2. An explicit summary stating the problem, objectives, methods, major results and conclusions.
  3. Both informative and critical abstracts are accepted.
  4. Single-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman — no bullets or lists within the abstract itself.
  5. Written in English.
  6. Submitted as an MS Word document (.doc or .docx).
  7. Submissions that don't follow the guidelines will be asked to be revised.
  8. Content is reviewed before acceptance for presentation.

3–6 keywords maximum.
