Biography

Lidia Sierpinska, Master of Science in Nursing, Doctor of Medical Sciences. Specialist in public health and in the field of epidemiological nursing.

She has 33 years of experience as a Head nurse in the Military Clinical Hospital No.1 with Polyclinic, Independent Public Health Care Unit, Lublin, Poland. And 14 years experience as the Plenipotentiary Commander for quality management systems. She was an adjunct for 17 years at the Radom School of Higher Education in the nursing speciality.

She was the National consultant for defence in the field of nursing for 15 years. And a Member of the Bioethics Committee for Scientific Research for 6 years, at the Medical University, Lublin. Also, she has 2 years of experience as a Research and didactic employee at Vincent Pol University in Lublin in the nursing speciality.

Many publications have been done within the scope of issues concerning quality management of medical services, and problems of hepatitis C as a risk factor for hospital-acquired infections.
