Elanne
A. Bueno was born and raised in Brazil, where her passion for
nursing began. She graduated in 2012 with an Associate Degree in
Nursing from St. Vincent’s College, laying the foundation for
her exemplary career in healthcare. In 2018, she further
advanced her education by earning both her Bachelor of Science
and Master of Science Degrees in Nursing Education from Sacred
Heart University.
In August 2023, Elanne achieved a significant milestone by
completing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Nursing
Education from Regis College. Her dedication to the nursing
profession is evident in her role as a Magnet Champion, having
attended the Magnet Conference in 2018, representing St.
Vincent’s Medical Center (SVMC).
Elanne has made a lasting impact at SVMC, where she played a
crucial role in developing a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Training Program, providing a vital pathway for new hires.
Currently, she serves as a nurse educator at Connecticut State
Community College, where she is committed to shaping the next
generation of nurses. Recently, she established an Honor Society
Chapter in collaboration with the Organization for Associate
Degree Nursing (OADN), recognizing the achievements of
outstanding students.
Each year, Elanne shares her extensive knowledge and expertise
with hundreds of students, inspiring them to excel in their
nursing careers and fostering a culture of excellence in nursing
education.
