Nicole L. Cesarek, MSN, RN, an Assistant Professor of Nursing at
CT State Community College Northwestern campus, brings a rich
blend of clinical expertise and educational passion to her
role. Born in Waterbury, CT, Nicole embarked on her nursing
journey at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health
Sciences, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a minor
in Health Psychology. Early experiences, like volunteering for
the Family Van, sparked her commitment to community health and
preventative care. Her extensive 15+ years in hospital settings
refined her skills, fostered leadership through precepting new
nurses, and solidified her dedication to education, prompting
her to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing Education from
Western Governor’s University in 2015. Currently, Nicole
channels this wealth of experience into creating a positive
learning environment at CT State Community College where she
strives to empower the next generation. Her teaching philosophy
prioritizes a supportive atmosphere that equips students with
foundational skills, critical thinking, and the compassionate
approach essential for impactful client care. Beyond the
classroom, Nicole is a proud mother of three boys, where she
cultivates the same values of love, patience, and gratitude she
brings to her professional life.
