Ashley Finke has been with Premier, Inc. for five years and is a manager supporting Premier’s Women and Infant Analytics. She provides analytical support to the Perinatal Improvement Collaborative (PIC), a national cohort of hospitals equating to over half a million births per year. The PIC prioritizes using data-driven insights to improve maternal and infant health outcomes throughout the country. Additionally, Ashley manages and provides analytic support for the national and statistical maternal and infant analyses utilizing the Premier Healthcare Database (PHD), a research database capturing approximately 45 percent of U.S. discharges. Leveraging the database provides insights into the critical drivers of maternal and infant morbidity and mortality. Ashley began her career with health departments and addictive disease treatment centers focusing on the implementation and development of evidence-based health policies before pivoting to healthcare analytics. She received her Master of Public Health (MPH), with a concentration in Epidemiology, and Master of Science in Health Informatics and Analytics (MS) from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC).
