Kaitlin Martin is a nursing faculty member at ECPI University’s
accelerated RN program and a practicing clinician with UNC
Health’s Hospital-at-Home program. She began her nursing career
after graduating with her ADN from OSU-OKC in 2020 and has
worked in cardiology med-surg, stepdown, inpatient cardiac
rehabilitation, and case management.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing Education from
Sacred Heart University in 2024, with a focus on using
simulation to enhance end-of-life education for nurse residents.
Her thesis has been accepted for presentation at multiple
nursing conferences. She is currently exploring the use of
artificial intelligence in the classroom to support student
development in therapeutic communication and clinical reasoning.
