Take Your Nursing School Project Beyond the Classroom

Capstones, honors theses, EBP projects, QI initiatives, case studies, and community health projects may qualify.

Submission Guidelines

  • Submit an abstract through the NCC-2027 abstract submission process
  • Work must relate to nursing, healthcare, public health, education or patient safety
  • Identify co-authors and faculty advisors where applicable
  • Obtain required institutional, faculty or IRB approvals
  • Do not include patient-identifying or confidential information
  • Acceptance is subject to review by the NCC-2027 scientific committee

Judging Areas

  • Scientific & Academic Quality — clear purpose, methodology, evidence
  • Innovation — originality and potential contribution to practice
  • Clinical or Community Impact — relevance to practice or public health
  • Poster Presentation — organization, clarity, ability to answer questions
  • Student Contribution — ability to explain your individual contribution
NCC Conference Scholarship Program

Supporting the Next Generation of Nurses

Financial limitations shouldn't prevent talented, motivated nursing students from accessing professional development.

Eligibility & Awards

Depending on funding and sponsorship, awards may include complimentary registration, partial scholarships, or special student discounts.

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing / healthcare program
  • Demonstrated interest in nursing, research, leadership or community service
  • Submit the scholarship application + essay
  • Available to attend NCC-2027 if selected

NCC Campus Ambassador Program

Selected scholarship recipients may be invited to serve as Campus Ambassadors — sharing NCC opportunities and deadlines with their academic community.
